Because Raya 2011 is the new beginning
SELAMAT HARI RAYA! <3
I have 7 more days to Zulkaedah, so it's not too late (:
Alhamdulillah, greatest thanks to Allah that this year raya was indeed a beautiful one. The one that i ought to remember, a new beginning. Never felt any happier than before. Before i share the reasons behind these happiness, i would like to seek forgiveness to each and everyone of you. It's really hard to meet everyone since each has their own tight schedule. Therefore i hope my past sins towards you has sincerely been forgiven. Except for some, i wish to meet you personally.
Some of my friends may know that throughout my 19 years of living, my life was never complete without cousins or nephew from both side. I am happy to have such a loving family members. Since i'm the youngest, no doubt i always get pampered but i am never spoilt. This year, i'm blessed with graciousness to be able to meet my long lost cousin and look, he's 21 this year (:
Although we are parted for many years, i'm extremely glad that we bonded well and most importantly is they are able to accept us back in the family tree.
I should thanked facebook for bringing us closer. With that, i present my cousin from my mum's side, Amer Solehin (:
Meet my twins, the whiter version (:
Her family make up another reason why raya this year seems much more meaningful than before. I could still remember how close we were when we are very very young. Although there were some awkward moment, we still talk and i hope that awkward moment will vanish sooner or later. She is one year older than me but that didn't stop us from being close. I like their hospitality and i wish it stays that way (:
In the family tree, the only cousin that is of the same age as me is Hisyam and to him, i wish to meet you someday since the rest have been telling me how fair and how quiet you have been. Edward Cullen? That's what they say :D
I felt inferior though, hehehe.
I guess two families is enough for now although i have 9 more families to look up to.
The awesome Yuan Ching-ians.
2nd from the top left.
Keeping in touch with your fellow schoolmates back in high school is definitely something everyone will do. Secondary schoolmates are the best creature of all because we grew up together from being a nerd to someone with knowledge. It's a growing stage for all. What makes this year something different and unique was having a Chinese friend that celebrate our festival together with us! Isn't that awesome?! :D
He blended well with us. The best thing was he got collections too! Although it was just a small group of us, we did have our fun throughout. Not forgetting, this year marked my first year visiting two friends houses. Who are they? Rabia & Syafiq.
I hope that is not the last :)
Finally, my 2nd family that got me wild and crazy. I glad i made the right choice by joining Azpirasi dance group because it gave me the opportunity to raya in a big group with my lovely Malay community. Oh! Spot my cousin in the picture? The one wearing black with songkok? (:
Yes we share the same interest but he got in earlier before me.
We have more than what you see in the picture but they can't make it. In fact, there are more juniors than seniors in the photos (:
Again, this year is much more happening because there were exchanging of poems in the bus although it sounded extremely harsh but hey! don't take it to the heart okay! (:
Bottomline is i had fun laughing hard despite knowing how ugly i did look & it was definitely an awesome 18 September 2011 <3
That simply explained why i look forward to my Syawal this year <3
I hope it either get better or stay the way it is in future (:
My next post, i'll be touching about friendship. Stay tune!
