Taqabballahuminnawaminkum
Eid Mubarak.

Today mark the 13th day of Syawal and alhamdulillah, i thank Allah for all theessing he has given me. This year raya is indeed better than the previous. I can't thank Allah enough for meeting us back into one; my mum and her siblings, myself and the cousins. Yes, im very excited to share about my family, mainly from my mum side. This year, we add our visit to my mum's eldest brother. Though the environment was a bit awkward, the treatment they gave us was out from our expectation. They couldn't stop talking but there will be someone who need to stop them and that's me :)
I'm blessed, bliss and glad that the relationship between my mum and her siblings are getting better. Though there are still a bit of gap between us and the cousins, we are still trying to blend in with them. The great part was they were able to accept us after years of not seeing each other. When i said years, i mean 15 years long. I swear this is one of the greatest gift i can ever get in my life. I can proudly tell everyone that i do have cousins and that i recognize each and everyone of them :) Syukur syukur syukur alhamdulillah.

They were the first i met after 15 years and till then, they were the closest among all for now. My good looking cousins, Amer & Ammar (:

Followed by my sweet looking cousins who were neutral when we met. The smile never fade up till now. I have to say that i'm starting to fall in love with all of them.

This is only three out of twelve families here. I may not get to meet all at one time but this meet up is definitely expanding year by year, insya Allah.

I enjoyed my first two days of Syawal very much but as a whole, raya this year was rather average. I may not have the feel to celebrate but whenever anyone asked me out, i accepted their offer. I miss Ramadan more. I miss the get togetherness in the mosque and the search of Lailatur Qadr. I don't know if this is too much to ask for but i'm hoping to meet Ramadan next year, insya Allah. While Syawal is still here, celebrate it with Takbir and visit as much houses as you can cause it's the perfect time to tighten the bond we have. It's the month of forgiving as well. Remember that, Haini.
